Kim's ensemble KG5, play a fabulous mix of American Songbook
, swing, jazz,and Latin. They also touch on a little R&B, blues and funk. Doug Farr is featured on vibraphone, a rare find indeed! You will also hear Doug on piano, percussion and harmonica. Guitarist Gary Theal’s background features everything from jazz ensembles and big bands to theatre orchestras and touring groups. He performs his jazz interpretations on his customized 7 string classical guitar. Bill Kent is a jazz pianist, educator and bass player; his focus is on the double bass and he has been playing with numerous duos and trios about town most notably with The Craig Henderson Trio. Barry Gray has been playing drums in and around Victoria for many years. With a passion for small group jazz settings, Barry provides solid rhythmic integrity for KG5.
